定着温度制御方法

Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption for idling/copying periods and to sufficiently secure a protecting time by executing consecutive energization for a warming up period and changing an energizing state during the copying and the idling period. SOLUTION: A wave number control system control circuit is for setting the power of a heater unit 1 in a satisfactory degree, in warming up and turning on/off the heater unit 1, in copying/idling, with the power feeding instruction signal of a CPU 5. Therefore, during the warming up, a temperature rising rate is remarkably high, but during the idling and copying, the energizing state is changed to make the temperature rising rate low. Thus, temperature ripples during the copying or idling are lessened, so that futile power consumption is reduced, further, the degradation of fixability is prevented and a sufficient protecting time is secured.
